Nestled along the south-facing slopes of the North Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, you'll find Badgells Wood, a stunning off-grid campsite and school of nature on a mission to inspire a love of the woods...
Badgells sings to my soul as it aligns perfectly with my beliefs and all that Wild Koru stands for. I am, therefore, extremely excited to be able to offer a a series of workshops here.
With exclusive use of their beautiful parachute shelter I will guide you in creating your own individual, striking mono-prints using the surrounding woodland as inspiration. Please note that no art experience is necessary, as this workshop is about connecting with nature and yourself through creativity and the truly fun medium of print. It is completely beginner friendly. We'll be working with non~toxic, animal~friendly vegetable oil based inks and by the end of our time together, you will have multiple prints from leaves, feathers and other treasures you may find on the day, thus giving you the chance to take a little bit of this beautiful woodland home.
All art materials, coffee and a selection of teas, freshly brewed over a fire pit, are included in this workshop.
£30 per person
About Badgells Wood
These workshops are open to the general public, as well as those camping on-site, so you don't have to book a pitch in the woods, although I highly recommend it!
Badgells Wood are on a mission to inspire a love of the woods. They’ve created an experience as close to wild camping as possible. A chance to immerse yourselves in beautiful ancient woodland and allow nature, and the magic of the campfire, to send you home feeling healthy, energised and relaxed.
A stay at Badgells Wood is a chance to disconnect from the everyday and reconnect with nature, with others and with yourself.
A place for creating lasting memories with your loved ones.
