On the outskirts of the picturesque, historical market town of Maldon in Essex sits Chigborough Farm and Fishery, a stunning 130 acre rural oasis...
The moment I set foot onto Chigborough Farm I could feel how special this place is. An arable farm, a fishery, camping, solar-powered glamping...130 acres of tranquil beauty and thriving wildlife. Sustainability is at its core, and this is clear, as is the thoughtful and considered way the farm is managed by Paul and Sam. The chance to offer workshops here is exciting, and I can't wait!
To kick off the festive season join me in creating your own Christmas cards, ready to send to those you love. I will guide you in making individual and striking cards through the traditional, and eco-friendly technique of lino-print. Before the sun sets, we will take a gentle stroll around the farm to forage holly and other festive foliage for some inspiration, before taking a seat to design, carve and print. As the sky grows darker, we will stay warm inside and ignite that Christmas feeling, with some festive nibbles, hot drinks and those very important twinkly lights!
Please note that no art experience is necessary, as this workshop is about connecting with nature and yourself through creativity and the truly fun medium of print. It is completely beginner friendly. We'll be working with non~toxic, animal~friendly, vegetable oil based inks and eco-friendly lino to create your cards, ready to send to someone special !
All art materials, festive nibbles and hot drinks are included in this workshop.

About Chigborough Farm
Embracing their passion for angling and farming, Paul and Sam returned to Essex in 2000 and have lovingly managed the farm and fishery since 2006.
The farm has evolved over the years, with Paul and Sam diligently restoring old farm buildings. Among these developments, visitors can now enjoy the mouthwatering delights from the Black Pig Cafe and Lambton and Jackson Smoked Salmon. Guests can also enjoy the numerous attractions onsite.

Good To Know
~ All art materials are supplied, and Earth-friendly
~ Aprons are supplied, but do consider that this is an art workshop, so clothes may get stained. Please dress appropriately
~ Dress for the weather - rain, sunshine and snow all bring their own creative opportunities!
~ Please bring water and any snacks you may need. I will bring coffee and a selection of teas - all organic, fair-trade and plastic free
~ This workshop is for adults, and young people aged 12 and over. Those under 18 years old will need to be accompanied by a full paying adult
