As the season of Winter brings silence and beauty to the natural world around us, join me for this session of eARTh, as we work on developing our Nature Journal.

eARTh is a series of seasonal art workshops, encouraging us to stop, see, hear, smell and feel our natural surroundings; noticing the shifts and changes that come with each season. During this workshop, we do so through nature journaling, a beautiful practice that inspires us to notice, and reflect upon, our own experiences, observations, thoughts and feelings within nature, all whilst discovering and learning about our natural world. Mindful in its manner, nature journaling is a gentle and therapeutic way to connect with yourself and the Earth through simple creativity.

As a fully qualified teacher of art, I will guide you through this 2.5 hour workshop, teaching you how to begin, and develop a nature journal. We will take a gentle walk through the woodland, pausing to notice the beauty of English Winter, and the atmospheric shifts it brings, before using a range of earth-friendly media to fill our journals with the colours and textures of this inspirational season.

Materials to use on the day, and a nature journal for you to take home with you are all included in this beginner-friendly workshop.
