Join me for a mindful morning of walking, photography and connection...to yourself and to nature.

 

As a fully qualified teacher of art and photography, I will guide you through a mindful experience beneath the trees. As we focus on the natural world through a lens, we begin to see it with new eyes; focussing on the small things that sometimes go unnoticed. By stopping, looking and seeing, you will become immersed in the present moment, surrounded by the inspirational sights, smells and sounds of Spring. The simple act of engaging in this exercise slows us down, enabling us to reconnect to the Earth.

In this beginner~friendly experience, I hope to show you how photography is accessible to all. Therefore, all that you need is your cameraphone or digital camera. If required, I do have several of the latter, so please do ask. Together, we will take time to notice the sounds and smells of the woodland before turning our attention to the sights surrounding us; looking at the beauty of English springtime, and the signs of growth and new beginnings all around.

good to know

~ This workshop is for adults, and young people over the age of 16. Those under 18 years old will need to be accompanied by a full      paying adult. 

~ As a beginner-friendly workshop, no photography experience is required.

~ Dress for the weather - rain, sunshine and snow all bring their own creative opportunities, so please dress accordingly.

~ Please bring your reusable water bottles and any snacks you think you may need. I will bring coffee and

   a selection of teas - all organic, fair-trade and plastic free.

~ Parking on site is free of charge.

~ Booking is essential.
